Congratulations
Congratulations!!
You're engaged and now your head is spinning. Take a step back and breath, before
you get overwhelmed you need to sit down and think. When do you want your
perfect day to be? You don’t want to have a winter wonderland wedding in the
middle of July when it is 90 degrees out. There is a lot that you need to think
about to pick the perfect day.
The first
thing you need to decide is it going to be inside or outside, you can’t have a
wedding outside in the middle of December when it is negative 4 degrees out and
there is 12 feet of snow. Well you can but it would be very cold and uncomfortable
for your guest.
The next thing you need to think about is dates
to avoid. For example, do you really want to get married on the forth of July
or on Easter? If you want to get married on a holiday more power to you. The
thing about getting married on a holiday like Easter you won’t have that many guests.
If you get married on a holiday your family and friends might already have
something planned that they cannot get out of, like Easter dinner with the in-laws.
There are
many days that you need to think about avoiding when picking your special day. The
days that I have mentioned above are similar to the website TheKnot.com
The next
thing that you must think about is the year that you want to get married. Do u
want it in the next year or do you not want it for ten years. It is up to you
how long you stay engaged. You can be engaged for as long as you want. The normal
amount of time is one to two years. But it is all up to you. It is your special day.
There are many
days that you can pick from a Spring day in May to a cold winter day in December.
Your perfect day is out there somewhere you just have to think.
